Host Selection Process
Host selection process starts as, Any city can be named by National Olympic Committee(NOC) to host next Olympic Games. Bidding City have to prepare a 'Bid Book' which carries the detail information and factual presentation of City. It has to give assurance for complete comfort for participants and plans for further improvements.
In the 112th International Olympic Committee(IOC) session which was held in Moscow, Beijing was elected to host 2008 summer olympics in the final two rounds of voting beating other four cities which was in the race named: Toronto(Canada), Istanbul(Turkey), Osaka(Japan), Paris(France).
