TIBE 2008 Guest of Honour is Australia. Promoting its culture, authors, publishers with latest development in publishing industry. Previous years Guest of Honour was Russia(2007), France-Germany-Greece-Poland(2006), Korea(2005), Italy(2004), Czech Republic(2003) and Japan(2002).
TIBE Exhibition area is around 36,474 sq.mt., which hosts around four lacs visitors from all around the world. Last year it hosts around seven hundred companies from almost 40 countries, promoted there products on 1821 stands. some of the popular categories are: Literary Works, Living & Leisure, Social Sciences, Language Learning, Housing & Health and more. Most popular books sold was: The Da Vinci Code, Harry Potter Series, Lord of the Rings, Good to Great, Kite Runner etc.
TIBE 2008 is hosting in three different halls of Taipei World Trade Center. Each hall coming up as a saperate market of books, displaying General Books at Hall No. 1, Comic Books at Hall No. 2 and Children Books are at Hall No. 3 respectively.
