Auction for the Indian Premier League 2010 was held on 19 January 2010 at Mumbai, India. Over 97 players from all over the world get registered for 2010 Indian Premier League auction.

Kieron Pollard (USD 750,000) won by Mumbai Indians,Shane Bond (USD 750,000) won by Kolkata Knight Riders was the top two seller followed by Kemar Roach (USD 720,000) won by Deccan Chargers, Wayne Parnell (USD 610,000) won by Delhi Daredevils, Mohammad Kaif (USD 250,000) won by Kings XI Punjab, Eoin Morgan (USD 220,000) won by Royal Challengers Bangalore, Damien Martyn (USD 100,000) won by Rajasthan Royals, Justin Kemp (USD 100,000) won by Chennai Super Kings, Yusuf Abdulla (USD 50,000) won by Kings XI Punjab, Adam Voges (USD 50,000) won by Rajasthan Royals, Thisara Perera (USD 50,000) won by Chennai Super Kings.

Indian Premier League 2010 featuring 11 players from Australia, 9 from South Africa, 8 each from Sri Lanka, England and West Indies, 7 from Pakistan, 4 from New Zealand, and 1 each from Holland, Canada, Bangladesh and Zimababwe.

The Indian Premier League 2010 season is set to begin on March 12th in Navi Mumbai and the final in Mumbai on April 25th 2010.
