17th Match of Indian Premier League(IPL) 2010 season is won by Mumbai Indians beating Kolkata Knight Riders in the one-over eliminator.
Earlier olkata Knight Riders won the toss and choose to bat first. Chris Gayle and Capitan Saurav Ganguly opens the innings for Kolkata Knight Riders. Without taking much risk Ganguly made a stedy start. He never look comfortable in his innings and bold by Harbhajan Singh in the 11th over of the match. He made 31 runs of 34 balls. On the other end Chris Gayle is in the different mood, he keeps the one end busy and keep scoring runs. He was out on the last ball of the match by Zaheer Khan. He made 75 runs in 60 balls including 7 boundries and 2 sixes. Owais Shah played a good innings of 31 runs in 23 balls including 3 boundries and 1 six. In the end Kolkata Knight Riders made 155 runs at an economy rate of 7.75 runs per over.
Chasing a victory target of 156 runs Mumbai Indians opens their innings with Shikhar Dhawan and Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. They made a first wicket partnership of 65 runs in 6.5 overs before Dhawan caught by Saurav Ganguly on the bowling of Murli Kartik. He made 23 runs of 21 deliveries including 4 boundries. Sachin's bat did'nt stop as he blast every Knight Riders bowlers. He remains not out at the individual score of 71 runs in 48 balls including 10 boundries. In the end Mumbai Indians won the 17th match in DLF Indian Premier League 2010 beating Kolkata Knight Riders by 7 wickets.

Sachin Tendulkar of Mumbai Indians were declared Man of the Match for his unbeaten match winning innings. He made 71 runs in 48 deliveries with the help of 10 boundries, at an strike rate of 147.91.
