Delhi Daredevils plays in 5th season of the IPL 2012 on 5th april 2012 in their opening match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
McDonald moves to Royal Challengers Bangalore
Royal Challengers Bangalore have picked up Andrew McDonald, an Australian allrounder, from the Delhi Daredevils for the IPL 2012 season 5. As per Daredevils official, the transfer fee for Andrew McDonald was USD 100,000. McDonald played only one game for the Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2011 Season 4.
Kavin Pietersen moves to Delhi Daredevils
England's allrounder Kavin petersen has transferred to Delhi Daredevils from another IPL team Deccan Chargers in the 5th season of IPL 2012. Pietersen was earlier part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2009. He was acquired by Deccan Chargers during the 2011 but he did not play any matches.
