Earlier playing away from home ground, Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to feild first. Adam Gilchrist and VVS Laxman opens the innings for Deccan Chargers. Gilchrist made a cracking 33 runs of just 12 balls including 2 sixes and 4 boundries. Luck is not going with Laxman as the
retired hurt at an individual score of 10 runs of 7 balls with one boundry. Andrew Symonds capitalize the base made by fellow country men Adam Gilchrist, he made 53 runs of 38 balls including 3 boundries and 3 sixes.
