18th Match of Indian Premier League(IPL) 2010 season is won by Bangalore Royal Challangers beating Chennai Super Kings by 36 runs.
Earlier Chennai Super Kings won the toss and choose to field first. Manish Pandey and Jacques Kallis opens the innings for Bangalore Royal Challangers. Without taking much risk Kallis and Manish made a stedy start. Kallis made 19 runs in 17 deliveries and on the other end Manish Pandey made 20 runs in 28 balls. Bangalore Royal Challangers not looking in a mood of a big score before Robin Uthappa cracks the Chennai Super Kings bowling attack. He remains unbeaten at the score of 68 runs in 38 deliveries. He hits 3 boundries and 6 sixes at the strike rate of 178.94. In the end Royal Challangers Bangalore sets the target of 172 runs for Chennai Super Kings in 20 overs.
Chasing a victory target of 172 runs Chennai Super Kings opens their innings with P Patel and M Hayden. P Patel did'nt last long and caught by Mark Boutcher on the bowling of praveen kumar in the first over of the match. Couple of batsmen made start but could'nt capitalize the innings as chennai super kings made just 135 runs for the lost of 7 wickets in their 20 overs.
In the end Bangalore Royal Challangers won the 18th match in DLF Indian Premier League 2010 beating Chennai Super Kings by 36 runs.
