3rd match between Mumbai Indians and Pune Warriors in IPL 2012
Pune Warriors won the 3rd match in IPL season 5 beating Mumbai Indians by 28 runs at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field first. Soon the decision proves beneficial as Malinga took the wicket of Manish Pandey in his very first over. He was out for a duck. Captain Saurav Ganguly making his appearance in IPL Season 5 also doesn't last long. He was st. Karthik on the bowling of Harbhajan Singh. He was out for 3 runs. Steven Smith and Robin Uthappa showed some good shots with the bat. Uthappa made 36 runs of 33 balls with 3 boundaries. Smith made 39 runs of 32 deliveries with the help of 4 fours.
