A Singh and GB Hogg took 2 wickets each for Rajasthan Royals. A Chavan and K Cooper took one wicket each. Mumbai Indians made 197 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs at an average of 9.85 runs per over.

Chasing a victory target of 198 runs, Rajasthan Royals made a bad start as Captain Rahul Dravid was out in 2nd over of the match. He made 3 runs. SP Goswami was also out in the very next ball for a duck.
