DLF - Indian Premier League

DLF - Indian Premier League (IPL) is a franchise-based Twenty20 competition organised by the BCCI (board of control of cricket in India, and backed by the ICC. It features the World's best cricketers playing their affiliation decided by open auction for eight city based franchises, owned by a host of businessmen and celebrity consortiums. The first season was from April-June 2008, the second season is scheduled to be held between April 10 and May 24 2009. Now the fresh season starts from 12th March 2010 to 25th April 2010.

Following the pervious pattern, this season of IPL also has eight teams. First match of IPL 2010 will be scheduled between defending champion Deccan Chargers and the last time runners up i.e. Kolkata Knight Riders.

Apart from Playing Eight Teams homes venues, Four new venues - Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Nagpur and Vishakapatnam are added. Other then previous players you'll also going to see formar ICL(Indian Cricket league) Players as they will be available for auction for IPL 3.

The teams are of IPL 2010 are:Deccan Chargers (DC), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Mumbai Indians (MI), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Delhi Daredevils (DD), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
