5th Season of IPL 2012

The 5th season of the IPL Season 5 (DLF Indian Premier League ) will begin on April 4th and conclude on May 27th, 2012.

The match schedule of the DLF IPL 2012 has undergone a change on account of the Delhi Municipal Elections in mid April 2012.

The changes are as follows:

  • Delhi Daredevils v/s Deccan Chargers moves from Saturday 14th April 2012 (4:00 pm) in Delhi to Thursday 19th April 2012 (4:00 pm) in Delhi
  • Deccan Chargers v/s Pune Warriors India on Tuesday 1st May 2012 (4:00 pm) moves from Hyderabad to Cuttack (4:00 pm).
  • Deccan Chargers v/s Delhi Daredevils moves from Thursday 19th April 2012 (4:00 pm) in Cuttack to Thursday 10th May 2012 in Hyderabad (4:00 pm).
  • The Play-off match to be played on Tuesday 22nd May 2012 has been shifted from the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru to the MCA Stadium, Pune.
  • The Play-off match on Wednesday 23rd May 2012 will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

  • opening of Urdu medium school and funding of madarsas.
  • Induction of Muslim youth into security forces via special recruitment.

  • Compulsory education for children till primary level and free books till Class VIII.
  • Free Girls’ education till graduation in government colleges.
  • Free clothes for girl students twice a year.
  • Shiksha Mitras would be made regular
  • Students from economically weaker section would be given free hostels and coaching.
  • Free water to farmers. Cooperative societies would also provide
  • Subsidised loans at 4% rate to small farmers.
  • Pension for farmers with small holdings after 65 years of age.
  • 20-hours electricity, in rural areas, and 22 hours in urban areas.
  • Land acquisition in non-agricultural areas would be done at six times the circle rate
  • Free operations for heart, cancer, liver and kidney diseases in government medical institutes. Free medical treatment for girl students till graduation.

Child education is compulsory in U.S.A. The locally elected school boards with jurisdiction over school districts set funding, teaching, school curricula, employment and other policies. The State Government usually makes the decisions regarding standardized testing and educational standards.

The ages for compulsory education vary from state to state. It starts from ages 5-8 and ends from ages 14-18.

ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION

Children should be educated in public schools, state certified private schools, or home school program. Education is generally divided into 3 levels in most public and private schools:-

  • ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
  • MIDDLE SCHOOL
  • HIGH SCHOOL

There are more than 14,000 school districts in the country. Almost $550 billion is spent each year on primary and secondary education. The school districts within most states require teaching for 180 days a year.

In almost all schools, children are divided by age groups into grades, starting from kindergarten, followed by 1st grade up to 12th grade (usually 18 year old), which is the final year of the high school. The age range of students in these grade levels varies slightly area-wise.

Sometimes pupils maybe promoted beyond the next regular grade. Some states allow students to leave school between 14-17 years of age with parental permission, before finishing high school.

According to government data, one-tenth of the students are enrolled in private schools. Almost 85% of students enter the public schools because they are tax-subsidized. 1.7% of the students are educated at home.
